After a disappointing 6th place finish last season North Eastern Warriors, who have also put up a competitive squad this season will be looking to put up a better performance. With the likes of Saina Nehwal in their ranks and a good balance in both the singles and doubles department, North Eastern Warriors will look to mount a serious challenge for the PBL4 title this year.

Singles
Saina Nehwal (Icon)

The Hyderabadi shuttler is the poster girl of the Indian badminton and had a great career. She is the first Indian shuttler to win an Olympic medal, and her feats prove as to how well she has served the country in the racquet sport. Having played for Awadhe Warriors in the first three editions, the Indian ace has failed to add the trophy to her cabinet. With a new season comes new hope and Saina will be ready to go all guns blazing to get her hands on the title. She will once again look to lead from the front and lead the team to the title.
Tian Houwei
The Chinese star made his debut in the league last year when he featured for the Delhi Dashers. This season Tian will be wearing the jersey of North Eastern Warriors. After winning the China Masters earlier in the year, the veteran’s experience is a valuable addition to the side and will add more firepower to the singles.
Tanongsak Sansomboonsuk

He made history when he became the first Thai player to win a Superseries. Sansomboonsuk will be coming to the side after winning medals in 7 South East Asian Games and 2010 Asiad. An experienced campaigner, the Thai player will win his matches in the competition in a bid to push his team towards maiden glory.
Rituparna Das
The youngster is a great addition to the side and will look to get some tips from veteran Saina Nehwal. She is Dynamic and energetic who has a deceptive stroke play. She has earlier featured for the Awadhe Warriors and Bengaluru Blasters she will be looking to make a strong impact.
Doubles team
Kim Ha Na (mix doubles)

She won her maiden title in India (India Open) in 2012, and will be upbeat to play for the Warriors in PBL4. The 2014 Asian Games silver medalist will be keen to prove her credentials when she takes the court this season.
Yoo Yeon Seong (Men’s Doubles)
The South Korean is a former World No 2 and was an integral cog of the title-winning Hyderabad Hunters squad last season. His signing has not only made the doubles lineup strong but he will also shoulder the responsibility of the team and will look to take them all the way t the finale.
Liao Min Chun (Mixed Doubles)
The 2014 Asiad bronze winner has a huge experience under his belt, which also gives the North East a cutting edge in the doubles category. The Taiwanese who is a doubles veteran will look forward to making his PBL debut with a bang.
Kukkapalli Maneesha (Mix Doubles):
Maneesha has previously plied her trade in the PBL for the Awadhe Warriors and the Delhi Acers in PBL. Having partnered with the likes of Satwiksairaj, Manu Attri, Kidambi Nandagopal, she will be high on confidence and will look to have another good outing this season.
Indian Juniors
Dhruv Kapila (Men’s Doubles)
Kapila started the year by winning the Kharkiv International in Ukraine. The young Indian shuttler who will be making his PBL debut will look to make a strong statement this season.
Siril Verma (Mens Singles)
Former Junior World No 1 has shown a lot of promise over the years and have come up the ranks smoothly. The youngster now stands a chance to be amongst the best and play against the best players in the world and he will be eager to prove his credentials in the tournament.
