The Irish fighter has been charged with strong-armed robbery after his arrest by the police.

A police report on the incident has been made public and it read:
“The victim attempted to take a picture of the defendant with his cell phone. The defendant slapped the victim’s phone out of his hand, causing it to fall to the floor. The defendant then stomped on the victim’s phone several times, damaging it. The defendant then picked up the victim’s phone and walked away with it, depriving him of it. The defendant was located and arrested.”
The victim’s phone was valued at around $1,000.
McGregor has been recently spending a lot of time in Miami with his family after the birth of his second child with partner Dee Devlin.
This is the second time which McGregor has seen criminal charges filed against him. Last year, he was ordered to undergo anger management training and 5 days of community services in return for criminal charges to be dropped after he attacked a bus which had UFC fighters with chairs.
It remains to be seen whether McGregor spends an extended time in prison for his latest demeanour or charges against him are dropped if he can agree upon a settlement with the victim.
