Shakib runs a very successful lounge named ‘Shakib’s Dine’. The lounge claims to be one of Bangladesh’s first sports-themed lounge. The lounge hosts various memorabilia from Shakib’s career in cricket, including his various jersey’s from his playing career with Bangladesh and Kolkata Knight Riders. The lounge also has various stumps and balls which he has collected in his cricketing career.
He has also hosted many of his famous contemporaries from cricket in his lounge. His KKR teammate Morne Morkel and the world’s premier fast bowler Dale Steyn are one of the few people who have visited and praised the lounge.
