If there is one team in the Indian Premier League which is known for setting new fashion trends, it has to be Kolkata Knight Riders. And why not? The team is owned by the superstar of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and he would not like his team to not reflect the charisma and glamour that he takes with him all the time.
KKR has seen different jerseys over the period of 10 years. They started their journey with the combination of black and gold and eventually shifted to different shades of purple and gold. This year, too, it is expected that their team jerseys will be slightly different than the last year’s.
While we have to wait to see how their new jersey looks like when the team takes the field to play their first match of the season, we don’t have to wait to get an idea of how their jerseys might look like.
The KKR team has started their practice session and the players could be seen in their new practice jersey which has a mix of red and black.
The team has never used red colour in their jersey in the last 9 years. It seems, now, that they are breaking the shackles and will have some shade of red in their jerseys. Remember that KKR is owned by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. There has got to be some element of ‘Red’ going on now in the jerseys.
