Anushka and Kohli recreated an old world charm while picking their engagement outfits. Sultan actress looked breathtaking in a Gulkand Burgundy Sabyasachi velvet saree. It is said that the bride was very particular about her engagement outfit and wanted to wear a velvet saree by Sabyasachi for this function. Her saree is hand-embroidered using miniature pearls and the finest quality zardosi and marori. She accessorized her look with a stunning uncut diamond and pearl choker with matching studs from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection. Her hair and makeup was a point on with, natural makeup, kohled eyes, a bindi and red roses in her hair that add vintage charm.
Complimenting Anushka, Virat Kohli was looking dapper as ever in a blue three-piece suit. A light blue tie and white floral lapel added vintage vibes to his look which was well accessorized with a watch and brown brogues.

Her fuchsia pink and Indian orange graphic lehenga had hand print work done prominent block printers from Calcutta. Her lehenga was handwoven with an electric blue sixties pop print design by artists from The Sabyasachi Art Foundation.

Virat stole our hearts in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee signature white khadi kurta churidaar. He matched his bride’s lehenga with a classic fuchsia pink Nehru jacket detailed with blazer buttons. Sabyasachi designed a custom-made tan leather jutti with a zardosi crest to match Virat’s outfit.
