'Duniya Hila Denge Hum', is what Mumbai Indians listen, speak, sing when the IPL is going on. And they do have a team which can shake the best of oppositions, not only in IPL but in other T20 tournaments as well. Now that we know every IPL franchise can retain as many as 5 players, with certain clauses, it would be interesting to see who Mumbai Indians want to have for the next edition. We are taking a guess here.
IPL 10’s final surprise at the concluding game was worth the wait, with Mumbai Indians emerging victorious against Rising Pune Supergiants by just 1 run. The tense game had everyone nail-biting at the stands and at home, but there was one person who seemed to be doing her best to keep the team spirit for Mumbai Indians alive, someone who began to be lovingly called ‘Prayer Aunty’ on Twitter. During the turning point of the game, the camera panned onto an old lady praying in silence with her hands together.
Tweets went out everywhere trying to figure out the identity of Prayer Aunty and pointing out to the fact that her prayers were definitely answered. Was Prayer Aunty really Mumbai Indians’ lucky charm? It seemed so, especially at the point when 7 runs were needed off 4 balls for RPS, it had to be some sort of divine intervention if a team somehow wins by just 1 run. Abhishek Bachan came out of nowhere with a tweet revealing the true identity of Prayer Aunty, she was actually Purnima Dalal, the mother of Mrs. Nita Ambhani, who is known by the name ‘nani’. That settles the story of the mysterious spectre known only as Prayer Aunty.
