West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq have signed up for the inaugural edition of St. Mortiz Cricket 2018. the announcement was made on Wednesday.
Lots of current and former international stars are scheduled to take place in this event in Switzerland, which will take place on February 8 and 9. The matches will be in T20 format. This will be the first time so many prominent players will play a couple of exhibition matches in Switzerland.
Cricketers like Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, India’s Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif, Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene, Lasith Malinga, Australia’s Michael Hussey, South Africa’s Graeme Smith, Jacques Kallis, New Zealand’s Daniel Vettori, Nathan McCullum, Grant Elliot, and England’s Monty Panesar and Owais Shah will fly out to the European nation to take part in this tournament.
Talkking about having the likes of Bravo and Razzaq on board CEO of VJ Sports, the organiser said, “Everyone remembers the nail-biting matches when Virender Sehwag used to bat against the likes of Dwayne Bravo and Abdul Razzaq.
“We are all set to recreate history and are really excited to see all these legendary players once again take on the challenge and give their fans a lot to cheer about. The unique aspect is, of course, the 22 yards giving way to snow rather than the usual soiled one,” he added.
