Matt Dwyer is not the most popular name among the cricket fans but his significance in the team helps the players develop mentally for the game. Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League, Dwyer is currently doing the same job for Ranji side Baroda.
Dwyer, on Thursday, tweeted that Baroda captain Irfan Pathan and Sydney Sixers’ bowler Sean Abbott could become the most valued player in the IPL auctions.
This is what he tweeted:

Is cricket still left in Irfan Pathan?
At 32, Irfan Pathan is a better person to answer this question. In his words, he still feels he has a long way to go but looking at his present performances, his numbers does not look very impressive. He was in the Rising Pune Supergiants team in IPL last year but played only one game, where his performance was not below par.
This is why this statement made by Dwyer is a bit surprising.
Why Sean Abbott?
Sean Abbott had a wonderful BBL season this year. Despite good performances in the domestic circuit, Abbott has not been able to make the cut into Australia’s national cricket team. He will go under the hammer and teams like KKR and RCB who lack quality pace bowlers might like to go after him.
