South African cricketer Faf Du Plessis announced the birth of his newborn baby on Twitter, the picture he posted had his finger being held by the baby’s tiny hands. Faf Du Plessis is certainly going to have long years of fatherhood ahead of him, and the picture definitely conveys more than words can say.
Our biggest blessing yet came in a small package.so very grateful ?????????? pic.twitter.com/Ib2TZy390X

Faf Du Plessis was expected to miss out on the opening Test of the four-match series against England due to his wife giving birth in early July. Now that the baby has been born early, it remains to be seen what decision he makes regarding the Test series.
Steve Smith, who played alongside Faf Du Plessis in the Rising Pune Supergiants during the IPL, recently had his own personal life changes when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Dani Willis at the Rockefeller Centre in New York. The two announced their engagement on Instagram and Smith captioned the picture with ‘Today I got down on one knee and @dani_willis said YES.’
Faf Du Plessis may carry on with the Test series, or he may decide that it would be better to spend some time with his family during the early days of his newborn child. Steve Smith did something similar when he took a six-day break from the IPL 2017 to spend some time with family. It’s really Faf Du Plessis’ decision in the end, and we wish him peace on starting a family.
