Former Pakistan captain and legend Wasim Akram has sent a legal notice to his former teammate’s Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan for making a sensational claim about his sex life in her upcoming book.
The manuscript of the book titled ‘Reham Khan’ was leaked online lately. According to The Times of India, Reham has alleged that left-arm pacer used his late wife to fulfill his sexual fantasies. Reham Khan added that Akram arranged a black man who had sex with his late wife in front of his eyes.
“This is grossly defamatory, indecent and disrespectful to our client’s late wife. Wasim Akram is an internationally well-known former Pakistani cricketer and media personality who is being acknowledged by cricket experts and fans as being one of the best test fast bowlers in the history of first-class cricket,” the notice, issued by a West London law firm to Reham Khan on May 30, said.
Imran Khan’s ex-wife also stirred up controversy within the country’s political ranks. In an exclusive interview to CNN-News18, Reham Khan said that in the book she reveals instances of rampant sexual coercion and use of sexual favours for political gains within the ranks of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
“I’ve discussed sexual harassment, sexual coercion and how it is used. How sexual favours are used for political positions, and media positions. And some of those relate directly to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.”
Reham Khan and Imran Khan got married in January 2015 and divorced in October 2015.
