New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson has climbed to the fourth spot in the recent ICC T20I rankings. Williamson became the second batsman after Virat Kohli to be in the top five positions across all formats.
The Kiwi batsman was rewarded with this climb after he produced some aesthetic performances in the recently completed T20I series against Bangladesh. Williamson scored an aggregate of 145 runs in the three-match series. Bangladesh were romped 3-0 in the series and Williamson-led team stamped authority in the shortest format.
He sits in fourth place in the Test rankings, while he is ranked fifth in ODI rankings.
