St. Kitts and Patriots Evin Lewis first stole the limelight from Chris Gayle in the CPL match against Barbados Tridents. The young man smashed a 32-ball-97 as Gayle was a mere spectator at the other end.
However, it was Kieron Pollard who made the most of the news after the match as he intentionally bowled a ‘big’ No-Ball to deny Lewis a much-deserved century.
Patriots required just 1 run and Tridents captain Pollard came to bowl, he stepped ahead of the bowling crease by a long margin and also bounced the ball to an extent that the batsman could not do anything about it. Thanks to the No-Ball, Patriots won the game but Lewis who was eyeing a four to finish a 33-ball-hundred was denied a landmark achievement.
The fans watching the game got furious at Pollard for such a lowly act on the field, even when he is the captain of the team.

So Kieron Pollard bowls a no-ball to deny Evin Lewis a hundred in CPL. S Randiv was suspended for a match when he did that to Sehwag in 2010

The incident took the fans to the Suraj Randiv controversy where the off-spinner had bowled a No-Ball intentionally to not let Virender Sehwag complete his century.
Sehwag had then said that Randiv had done that deliberately. He was banned for one game after an inquiry was set up to see the matter. Pollard seems to have repeated the same mistake and fans want that in the same way, he should be banned as well.
