Ravi Shastri is one of the most popular voices in the world of cricket. He has defined a generation of Indian commentators and has become one of the voices of Indian cricket.
Ravi Shastri is quite popular for using the phrase ‘like a tracer bullet’ whenever the batsman hits a cracking boundary or a six on the cricket field. Shastri now tried to use that phrase, while commenting on the Uttar Pradesh elections on Twitter. It was a commendable effort and indeed a brave one, but Shastri ended up getting trolled by none other the the Prime Minister of India itself, Narendra Modi.
Here is Shastri’s tweet:

Narendra Modi replied back to Shastri with a statement, which is likely to have left the ex-Indian cricketer and current Indian commentator floored.
Modi using Shastri’s own cricketing terminologies replied back:
Thank you. UP polls did not quite go down to the wire. But, at the end of the day democracy is indeed the real winner! 🙂 https://t.co/suoTqZtXit

We are sure Ravi Shastri must have been impressed with the Indian Prime Minister’s knowledge of the game!
