Bigg Boss 12 contestant and former Indian pacer S Sreesanth has been grabbing eyeballs ever since he entered the house. And in the episode aired on Monday – the former pacer shared details about the India Premier League fixing scandal.
In a shocking revelation, Sreesanth has said that he thought about committing suicide after the infamous IPL spot-fixing scandal which finished his cricketing career. The 35-year old contestant broke down after claiming innocence in a conversation with fellow contestants.
Sreesanth also said that if his son starts playing cricket, he won’t be able to watch him play, since the former cricketer is not allowed to enter a cricket field.
Sreesanth was one of three cricketers banned for life after a match-fixing incident during a match between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings was spotted by anti-corruption officials. The other two cricketers who were banned were Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan.
Sreesanth has been acquitted in the case but said that he was so depressed that he considered attempting suicide at one point.
A small clipping of the episode was released on Colors TV’s social handles and got a response from former RR owner Raj Kundra. In a now-removed reply, Raj Kundra commented with a laughing emoticon followed by ‘Epic’, effectively laughing off the former pacer claims.
