Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has found a new way to land himself in big trouble again. This time he has been accused of being ‘insensitive’ and ‘inhumane’ by various people across social media platforms.
So what landed him in trouble again? A photo which he posted from his official social media accounts of petting a lion in his mansion.
This is not the first time that the all-rounder has landed in trouble and probably it won’t be the last.
Here is the picture which he posted and has now been deleted from his Twitter but still exists on his Facebook account:
Twitter was quick to bash the former Pakistan captain calling him inhumane for petting a lion and bonding him with chains in his house:
So apparently shahid afridi has a lion in his house and people are fascinated like im so sorry to break it to you but wild cats belong to their natural habitats stop chaining them in your houses to show off

Yes, the lion seems really sad to me. it’s home is not shahid afridi’s mansion it belongs in the wild.

Shahid Afridi has a pet lion who is confined at his home and it’s chained, this is so barbaric and inhumane poor creature should be in its natural habitat, running & hunting . where are animals protection organisations. Fuck your wealth & fame if it doesn’t give you compassion

I’m absolutely appalled with what #ShahidAfridi is doing. You can’t keep a #lion out of its natural habitat all chained up & then claim that u r loving animals. The lion looks weak & so done with life. I feel so bad for it. #PETA #AnimalRights #cricket #Pakistan pic.twitter.com/IiphTknlhX

When will Shahid Afridi ever learn?
