India’s Test team captain Virat Kohli, while addressing the press conference on Tuesday said that he and his team is looking forward to watch Usain Bolt run in the Olympics. Kohli is a big Olympics fan and despite being busy preparing for third Test match against West Indies, the 27-year-old is taking out time to catch on some Olympics action.
Kohli said, “We are following the action in whatever time we get in the evening. My favourite events are swimming, diving and obviously we all love track and field events.”
The right-handed batsman said that he and his teammates were talking to each other, discussing if they will be able to watch Usain Bolt run on August 14 as they will be travelling. He said, “We were just discussing this. Our team will be travelling on 14th and on the same date, Usain Bolt will be making his first appearance in Olympics. Later on, after figuring out timings, we realised we may able to watch him just after landing at the next Test match venue.”
Kohli added that as an athlete it is always a great experience of watching athletes like Bolt giving their best.
