Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is a big fan of current Indian captain Virat Kohli. Tendulkar has often spoke about Kohli’s abilities to surpass all batting records. Kohli himself grew up watching Tendulkar bat and he was one of the big reasons why Kohli took up the sport.
Tendulkar had posted a picture of Virat Kohli after the latter reached his 4th double hundred against Bangladesh in the one-off Test match in Hyderabad. This was Kohli’s 4th double ton in 4 consecutive series, a record not held by anyone else other than Kohli.
This is what Sachin had posted and also what Virat replied:
The sweet spot on your bat speaks about the awesome form you are in, don’t need scoreboards.May god always keep your bat like that @imVkohli pic.twitter.com/zSgLgTeTYY

The mutual respect between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli is there to be seen in this Twitter exchange.
The point that Tendulkar makes in this Tweet is that by looking at the black spot on the middle of his bat, one realizes how easily Virat has been hitting the ball from the middle of his bat. It is a bit ironic how with the same bat Virat has been breaking all the Sachin Tendulkar records as well but the great man is not at all complaining.
Or is he?
