The 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) has finally ended with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) crowned champions after they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets at Mumbai. 4 IPL final wins for Ambati Rayudu — the joint most for any player in IPL history after Rohit Sharma (2009, 2013, 2015 and 2017). Rayudu made his appearances in IPL final wins in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018.
3 consecutive IPL titles for Karn Sharma. It started with 2016, when Karn was in SRH, followed by 2017 in Mumbai Indians and then in CSK in 2018.

2nd overseas captain to win the Orange Cap award — Kane Williamson (735 runs) of Sunrisers Hyderabad. The last overseas captain to achieve this feat was also from SRH — David Warner in 2015 and 2017. Overall, Williamson is the 4th captain to win the Orange Cap award after Sachin Tendulkar in 2010, Warner (mentioned above) and Virat Kohli in 2016.
10 consecutive dot balls bowlee by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the final — the joint most by any bowler in an IPL final. Dilhara Fernando was the last bowler to achieve this feat for Mumbai Indians in 2010 final against Chennai Super Kings.

2nd player to win Player of the Season award twice in the history of IPL — Sunil Narine. Shane Watson is the other player to receive this honour in 2008 and 2013. Narine previously won this award in 2012.
