IPL 2018 auction are upon us and we are going to see a stiff battle between the franchises in the bidding war. Sportswallah decided to predict the base price of all the overseas players and the parameters chosen were the following: Last year’s IPL performances, recent T20 performances and players’ availability. Taking all those points, we came out with the price these overseas batsman might fetch at the auction.
Martin Guptill has put his base price at Rs 75 lakh. The New Zealand opening batsman has been quite excellent across all formats. Guptill is expected to fetch anything between Rs 3 to 3.7 crore.
