Ben Stokes was in utter disbelief when Jason Roy was dismissed for obstructing the field in England's second T20I against South Africa which South Africa ended up victorious in. The result meant that the series is finely poised at 1-1 with a game left to be played.
Ben Stokes has also been declared out for obstructing the field in an ODI match and he had this to say on his Twitter account:
Hosts and one of the favourites of the ICC Champions Trophy this year, England have gotten off to a fine start in the tournament opening game against Bangladesh, beating them comprehensively by 8 wickets. After winning the toss and deciding to field, Eoin Morgan’s side looked a little out of comfort as the Bangladeshi openers, Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar got off to a fine start in the opening 10 overs before Sarkar fell soon to that man again, Ben Stokes.
After Imrul Kayes departed, Tamim Iqbal and captain Mushfiqur Rahim then put on a strong stand of over 100, keeping the English bowlers at bay, at will. Tamim went on notch up a well-deserved hundred, becoming the first centurion of the tournament with Mushfiqur giving him a mighty helping hand of 79.
