Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been two of the most successful young Indians in their profession. Both have tasted great success so far in their careers, with Virat being arguably being the best batsman in world cricket right now and Anushka being one of the most popular actresses in the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood. So when two extremely popular come together, there is sure to be a massive media frenzy around them. Virat and Anushka know this better than anyone else and that’s why they have tried to keep their relationship as private as possible.
Now on a promotion tour for her upcoming big budget movie Zero in which she co-stars along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, Anushka has opened up on life after marriage with Virat Kohli.
Despite living extremely busy lives with the cameras and the attention of the people always on them, Anushka in an interview with Times of India claimed that her marriage with Virat was pretty ‘normal’.
“When you are two individuals who are really busy and accomplishing a lot in your respective lives, your marriage is as normal as normal can be. That’s how it is for everybody.”
Anushka also added that life as a married woman did not hamper her work as an actress one bit.
“Today, women have children, they go out to do their jobs and come home. Work is part of life and so is marriage and you have to enjoy both. You can’t live in fear, I don’t and I have always done what I wanted to do.”
Finally, speaking on constant rumours of her being pregnant, Sharma hit the question for a sixer right out of the park with great authority.
“Just because you are married, it doesn’t’ mean that the next step is to go the family way.”
