The whole of India dressed up to their best and sent out positive vibes all around, to celebrate the biggest festival in the country, Diwali. Indian cricketers too took the opportunity to celebrate the ‘festival of lights’ with their loved ones and shared the pictures on their social media handles, taking time out from their very busy schedules.

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli spent the mini-vacation with his lovely wife Anushka in their plush apartment in Mumbai which was decorated full of lights. Kohli wishing his followers well, wrote, “A very happy and prosperous Diwali to everyone from our home. Wishing everyone peace, happiness and good health. God bless.”
The Turbanator was seen celebrating the festival with his wife Geeta as well as his small daughter. Harbhajan wrote on his Twitter account, “A very happy and prosperous Diwali to everyone from our home. Wishing everyone peace, happiness and good health. God bless.”
Suresh Raina was also seen wearing a traditional Indian attire and clicking a selfie with his wife Priyanka and their daughter. He wrote a short and simple caption on his Twitter, “Happy Diwali.”
Bhuvneshwar Kumar who is currently busy with India’s T20I series against the West Indies also found some quality time to spend with his wife Nupur on Diwali night. The pacer wrote on his Twitter, “Wish u all a very happy Diwali.”
