iB Cricket and Viu together have announced the first-ever VR Cricket League which is all set to enthrall cricket fans this March. With the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) just around the corner, 12 international cricket stars will be battling each other for the iB Cricket Super Over League title in Mumbai.
The tournament will witness some of the legendary cricketers lining up to thrill fans. Cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, VVS Laxman, Brendon McCullum, Andre Russell, Herschelle Gibbs, Christopher Lynn, Mohammad Kaif, Tillakaratne Dilshan and young stars Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw.
In this game, a player will have a chance to choose his or her best-loved stadium, select the pitch and can also be very specific about the type of bowling styles to face. The player will get to stand right in the middle of a world-class stadium and hit sixes and fours just like in a real match situation. The crowd cheers and celebrates every boundary with real-time commentary following the action. Apart from that, replays, scoreboards, run-rates make iB Cricket a virtually real experience
This grand league is all set to create a history in the Virtual Sports era and will be streamed on the Viu platform. The games are scheduled in the second-third week of March.
