Virat Kohli and Team India players have been on a roll ever since they started their tour down under. The Men in Blue first clinched the ODI and Tests series in Australia and now clinched the five-matched ODI series 3-0 against New Zealand led by Kane Williamson. The latest victory in the third ODI on Monday came after India beat New Zealand by 7 wickets in Mount Maunganui.
With an unassailable lead of 3-0 and after playing his final game of the series, team India skipper decided to fly out on a holiday with his wife Anushka Sharma. Kohli posted a picture with the Bollywood actress wife on his Twitter handle in which the couple could be seen outside a private jet in the picturesque location which is however unknown.

In absence of regular skipper, vice-captain Rohit Sharma will lead the side for the final two limited-overs matches.
In his post-match presentation, the 30-year-old said “I haven’t had a break for a long time. It’s been a very hectic Australian tour and now I go on a break very happy 3-0 up sealing the series. I can relax and enjoy my break. Someday someone has to take your place and that’s how the game goes. I’m pretty happy contributing for the team as much as I can.”
Team India’s top order has been in phenomenal form through the series so far. Shikhar Dhawan leads the runs chart with 169 runs followed by Rohit Sharma (160 runs) and skipper Kohli himself with 148 runs.
The bowling department has been firing in the series as well, while the spinners have been threading their web around Kiwi batsmen. Kuldeep Yadav leads the wicket list in the series with 8 wickets. Pacer Mohammed Shami (7) and leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (6) are second and third respectively while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Trent Boult are joint-fourth with four wickets apiece.
