On Saturday at Sharjah during the encounter between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans; Imran Tahir became the third bowler to claim a hat-trick in the history of Pakistan Super League after Mohammad Amir and Junaid Khan. Moreover, this is Tahir’s second hat-trick in T20 cricket. His previous hat-trick came for Warwickshire against Durham in 2010. This time, Tahir’s hat-trick wickets included Hasan Khan, John Hastings and Rahat Ali of Quetta. Interestingly, both of his hat-tricks came in first innings of the match and they were the last three wickets to fall. Tahir’s hat-trick helped Multan win the contest by 9 wickets as they chased the target of 103 easily.
