It has been a downward slide for Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who is facing the worst nightmare of his life. Kathryn Mayorga – a 34-year-old teacher – filed a lawsuit against the Portuguese last week, accusing him of raping her back in 2009 in a Las Vegas hotel room. She also said that an amount of $375,000 was paid in out-of-court settlement according to which she would never speak anything over the incident in publicly.
We look inside the penthouse suite in Las Vegas where the incident took place.
The living room
When the guest walks inside the suite, they will be struck by the luxuriousness of the room. The adjacent living room provides incredible views of the Las Vegas Strip through its 10ft floor-to-ceiling windows.
When you enter the large kitchen the guest will see a six-seat dining table along with a fully functional kitchen.
Bedroom and Bathroom
There are two luxury grey marble bathrooms and two huge bedrooms. The bedroom has lavish furnishings and amazing views across Las Vegas But the attraction of the £775-per-night suite is the infinity hot tub.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s current club Juventus have backed their superstar, appraising him for his “professionalism and dedication.” In a series of tweets, the club said, “Cristiano Ronaldo has shown in recent months his great professionalism and dedication, which is appreciated by everyone at Juventus.”
They also added, “The events allegedly dating back to almost 10 years ago do not change this opinion, which is shared by anyone who has come into contact with this great champion.”
