Gearing up for the upcoming summer season, we’re on the lookout for the hottest release in sportswear.
In a preview to the upcoming on-pitch boot pack for SS19 and the soon-to-be-released Virtuso pack, the German giants launch two new colourways for the Predator Tango 19.1 and two new street editions of the Nemeziz 18+.
Unlike the usual launch patterns by Adidas, releasing street editions into the spotlight before the main release is something we have hardly seen in the past. But these slick pairs are a hint at how the summer editions will look like.
The two Tango releases have a contrast between the clean aesthetics of the all-white trainers and the design of the ‘Space Grey’. Some of Adidas’ most creative assets including American rapper ASAP Ferg have styled the latest street pair, alongside the Nemeziz street pack.
The artist said about the latest pack: “It has been great to collaborate with Adidas on the Virtuso Pack. I love the style of all of the different colour variations. All-white is always such a classic and clean look which I like to wear day-to-day.”
The elegant ‘all-white’ release is in striking resemblance to the ‘Off White’ predator tango which was released last year in November. In a contrasting approach not just to the ‘all-white’ make, but also in the general design, the ‘space-grey’ hints at a different style altogether with grey colouring interrupted by a black glitch effect that runs through the Primeknit upper.
While the Predator versions take up the laced 19.1 looks, the Nemeziz sticks to the trendy laceless style. This goes strong with two clean and uninterrupted silhouettes. The boot collection will, however, feature a full line-up of lace and laceless designs when it is launched on April 2.
We are so excited to see the iconic brand release the much-awaited collection, which is sure to be worn by big names on the pitch, while we can drool over the perfect eye-catchy designs off the pitch too.
