David Luiz found a rather expensive way to thank his teammates for the Chelsea victory at the Premier League, he surprised them with a series of gifts as part of their still-strong celebration. Luiz had 30 Senturion keys manufactured for his team-mates, manager Antonio Conte and owner Roman Abramovich. The total bill for the gifts – over £1m.
The luxury wrist wear called ‘Senturion’ is a key that can be synced with supercars, and they cost more than many of the supercars themselves. The starting price for the keys is £38,000 and moves on to six figure prices. The keys are an elite style statement, made up of a fusion of precious metals and advanced blue carbon fibre composites. The key can sync with high-end supercars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley, Rolls Royce and McLaren.
David Luiz handed over the stunners at the Cobham training ground, he opted for a 18-carat handcrafted rose gold one with 198 black diamonds and owner Abramovic’s piece was forged from a 4.9 billion year old meteorite. Abramovic’s piece was a special gift of gratitude from Luiz after Abramovic brought Luiz back to London from PSG for the Chelsea season.
Since his appearance in Chelsea this season, the footballer has risen up to the challenges and become an indispensable part of the team, fitting in well and keeping Chelsea’s game alive.
