No, you don’t have to clear your vision. You’ve read it right! Expanding their market to an entirely new dimension, French side Paris Saint-Germain have teamed up with a global underwear brand Parachute to launch ‘Prince’s Boxer Shorts’ collection. And yeah, it is a limited edition collaboration.
Packed in a subtle smooth white box, which has a PSG as well as Parachute’s branding over it, this alliance has only been made for three pairs, and you well and truly know the names. And in case you don’t, it is their strike force comprising of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani. Therefore, you will see their number – 7, 9 and 10 – embroidered over the shorts in a marvellous golden texture.
Furthermore, if you are keen on buying them, you better hurry as only 300 pairs have been made available. Also, if you are thinking that buying them will be economic, let us give you a reality check; a pair will cost you €45. But there are several perks as well. The product will come in an extremely fancy ‘special edition’ box that you wouldn’t want to lose it.
These boxer pants have travelled a long way, to say the least. SoccerBible explains that coming in all cotton, the product is handmade in the workshops of Valence and Vila Nova de Famalicão in Portugal.
With his new association, PSG have further expanded their fashion horizon, having already teamed up with the Jordan brand this year, followed by a collaboration with Japanese streetwear brand BAPE. Next in the list is another Japanese brand Edifice, with whom the club had earlier launched the winter/autumn collection.
