All athletes need to stay in shape – hardcore workout sessions, strict diets and constant training. It is crucial for every athlete to be in form and perform their utmost best on the field.
Patrice Evra, 37, former Manchester United (2006-14) and West Ham (February – June 2018) player, makes sure to never miss out on an opportunity to stay fit. The football must have stopped but that does not stop the athlete from spending a few hours grilling it out in the gym. The football star has spent much of his life on the football field, from playing for under-21 football in 2002 to being captain of France for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Manchester United, and recently his brief transfer to West Ham in 2018.
Evra often posts videos of him working out and his followers get a chance to peak into his gym sessions. CrossFit is a fitness regimen that includes high-intensity movements. These workouts enable people of all shapes and sizes to improve their physical form and fitness. His most recent post on Instagram, Evra is seen working out with kettlebells with his trainer. The IGTV video ends with his voicing out his favourite phrase – “But I love this game!”
Evra’s phrase “I love this game” is so popular that he has even released a series of t-shirts that sports those words!
There is no limit to training, staying fit and healthy. Even at the age of 37 (and soon to turn 38), Evra seems to be healthy as a horse!
