Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard and Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha might have taken a huge sigh of relief, as the new patch in FIFA 19 has updated the duo’s hairdo; something that they were extremely dissatisfactory of when the game was released.
Although the game included his trademark ‘the JLingz’ celebration, the version had the Manchester United star donning his previous side shave hairstyle. Zaha, on the other hand, had an extremely vague bland haircut and was deprived of his usual dreadlocks. This is how the duo looked initially:
Expressing their discontent, Lingard took to Twitter and said, “Can you change my haircut now please had the same trim on your game for 99 years,” followed by Zaha demanding the same.

Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer was quick to react and uploaded their avatar of the Crystal Palace forward.

Consider it as an answer to the rivals or anything, but the EA Sports responded, and responded with a new patch which not just upgraded Lingard and Zaha’s persona, but also added 48 new player star heads; which includes Atletico Madrid’s, Diego Costa, Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min.
The update has been received well by the duo and has gotten a thumbs up as well. For Lingard, his latest hairdo is back and for Zaha, there is double gaiety as the tattoo on his neck is now visible. Having seen his new avatar, the Manchester United took to Twitter and said, “Finally after all these years.” Zaha, on the other hand, was pleased too, and said, “About time.”
