Footballers becoming an internet sensation overnight for their exciting freestyle abilities is certainly not a new thing for the fans, to say the least. The faithful have now seen it all. But there’s always something new in store and Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has earned this accolade for a whole new trickery.
Following his heroics against Barcelona and Lazio, Brozovic has been running his hashtags – #epicbrozo and #coccodrillo – on his social media, and won the internet with his latest post. On the occasion of Halloween, while some decided to go all eerie, this 25-year-old decided to dress up like a crocodile. Take a look:
Fans were left rattled, as one wrote, “Always stay that way”. While the other said, “fantastico Brozo”.
That’s just brilliant, Marcelo!
Remember Barcelona vs Inter? Luis Suarez was taking a free-kick from right outside the area. The Uruguayan had thought he would fool the jumping Inter wall by slotting a low drill, but little did he know a certain Marcelo Brozovic was thinking way ahead of him. As Suarez made the contact and the players jumped, the Croatian midfielder slid onto the floor and in the process, blocked Suarez’s effort.

And if you think this was enough, the 25-year-old repeated the feat a week later when Inter visited Lazio. Brozovic scored a goal as Inter ran riot at Stadio Olimpico, but his highlight from the night was something extremely different. Lazio had won a freekick from the same position as Suarez and midfielder Danilo Cataldi was lining up for it. And as soon as he kicked, Brozovic again threw himself on ground. Brozovic’s effort deemed unnecessary at the time as Cataldi was poor.
