Premier League side Fulham have decided to turn to Claudio Ranieri, the legendary Italian manager known for his miraculous exploits at Leicester City to help them move out of the relegation zone. It seems as though the newly promoted side will move straight back into the Championship if they do not improve their performances with them at the rock bottom of the Premier League table.
Owner Shahid Khan has decided to take immediate action sacking the popular Slavisa Jokanovic and replacing him with the affable Italian in order for a quick fix. And Ranieri has immediately come with solutions in order to improve Fulham’s performance; straighten out the teams defending.
Ranieri once famously quoted during his Leicester tenure that he will award his players with pizza treats for good performances. He has now come up with a similar strategy for his Fulham players, promising them McDonald’s burgers if they do not concede goals.
Ranieri told speaking to the media, Raineri said as quoted by The Sun:
“I have to organise something more, the pizza is not enough now. Let me think… everybody to McDonald’s!”
Ranieri then getting serious, added, “”If you see Fulham conceded a lot of goals and I am an Italian, and it’s important to maintain the clean sheet.”
He was also elated to land a job back in the Premier League, adding, “I am very happy to come back. The best league in the world and I am very happy. Mr Khan called me and now we work together.”
