With hardly some days left for the much-awaited festive season of Halloween, creativity is flowing from every direction possible. One such inventiveness has come from around 150 miles away from Liverpool where a young six-year-old primary school protege, James, decided to dress up like the Liverpool keeper, Alisson Becker.
Hailing from the Isle of Man and having watched his favourite player a number of times already, this young boy, rather than opting for something eerie, decided to dress up like the ‘every striker’s nightmare’, Alisson Becker.
“He has kits with Mo Salah, Andrew Robertson and Virgil van Dijk on but he was desperate to be Alisson as he loves being a keeper, he’s definitely his favourite player,” Tristan Ringham was quoted by JOE.co.uk.
It was yesterday – October 25 – when Tristan uploaded the picture of his son James in Alisson’s kit before it went viral on the internet and reached the keeper all the way. The former Roma man responded to the picture which left the young James cheering all the way.

“James found out this morning and has been bouncing. He comes to most games and just watches Alisson, when he plays himself he copies all the stretches during the game.
“He’s a tad obsessed, being a keeper himself.”
Unlike Loris Karis, Alisson became a Liverpool hero in no time after his then-world record £66.9 million move from Roma to Anfield. In 12 games thus far, the Brazilian has kept seven clean sheets. Next up for Alisson and Liverpool is a trip of Cardiff City to Anfield.
