There is a word of an unofficial confirmation on the Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United deal. According to sources at Sky Sports, the Manchester United director, Ed Woodward, has agreed personal terms with the Swede who will be leaving PSG as free agent when his current contract expires at the end of the season.
It is expected that the deal will be formalized before Sweden’s first Euro game on the 22nd of June against Group E opponents, Belgium. Sky reports that Ibrahimovic is the only out and out striker Mourinho will look to sign this summer, due to the United coach being convinced youngster, Marcus Rashford, can make a vital impact at Old Trafford next season.
Ibrahimovic has been quoting a handsome salary of £220,000-a-week to join the Manchester based club. Although the club have agreed to those demands, Ibrahimovic still wants to be clear of his importance in the team and his role in the coming season; some creases Mourinho needs to ease out with him.
The deal also partly depends on the size of the check, Mino Riola, the agent of Ibrahimovic, will be receiving to bring the star to Manchester. Those talks are yet to begin as Riola is in France for the weekend so any deal making and negotiating terms will not begin until early next week.
