Yeah, it certainly isn’t the right time to talk about the Premier League, but we thought it would be good for you to at least know which players from your favourite club see their current contract expiring at the end of the 2018/19 season. The fixtures are already out and despite the players are busy with their international duty at the FIFA World Cup, the managers know the intensity with which they need to hold their squad for the next season. And for that reason, here we give you the list of players whose contract are coming to an end by the end of 2018/19 season.
David De Gea remains one of United’s most valuable players and next season will be no different. As far as his contract is concerned, remember the time when he almost joined Real Madrid in 2015 but the failure of providing the needed paperwork collapsed the deal in the 11th hour of the transfer window.
Soon after, he penned down a four-year deal with Manchester United and that sees his contract running out by the end of next season. There are, however, talks regarding a new deal on the table, but nothing official is there to date.
David De Gea - Manchester United
Moving to Anfield from Etihad in 2015 was a big move for Milner and given his age, nobody really expected him to be Jurgen Klopp’s exclusive first choice. Signing a four-year deal with the Reds, Milner not just became a regular starter, but also became a consistent performer.
Not just in the league circuit, but he played a big role in Liverpool’s Champions League quest. The Reds sure have made some great signings, but Milner remains an important quantity. As far as his contract is concerned, it expires by the end of the season.
James Milner - Liverpool
David Luiz took no time in establishing himself as crowd favourite when he returned to Chelsea after a brief PSG spell. The following season, however, saw his horrors surfacing as Conte decided not to include him in big names, and judging by what is going around the club, it won’t be long until we see him departing from the Bridge for the second time in his career.
And if he doesn’t this summer, he will be a free agent by the end of the next season.

There’s a lot of buzz going around Arsenal these days given how aggressively Unai Emery is completing his signings. But as far as keeping the old players is concerned, he needs to worry about the expiry of Aaron Ramsey’s contract, which will run down by the end of the next season.
Telegraph has quoted that a new five-year deal is on the table, but nothing official has been made either by the club or by the player’s representatives.
Aaron Ramsey - Arsenal
Joining Arsenal in 2015 after a whopping 11 years with Chelsea, Cech signed a four-year deal with the Gunners before becoming their first choice ahead of David Ospina. But a managerial change at the helm now sees Arsenal targeting the likes of Bernd Leno of Bayer Leverkusen and should the German arrives, either Cech or Ospina will depart.
Judging what’s circling around, Cech is expected to be the one given that his contract runs down by the end of the season.
Petr Cech - Arsenal
Courtois signed a new Chelsea contract soon after he returned from his successful Atletico loan tenure. However, since then a move to Real Madrid has been touted by several media houses and next year could well be the reality given that he will be a free agent if Chelsea doesn’t react quickly.
Thibaut Courtois - Chelsea
A lot is said about Anthony Martial in recent times, but nothing noteworthy has been done thus far. Having not played plenty of games this season, there are rumours of a potential exit, and his agent has confirmed just that.
For Manchester United, they certainly don’t want to see him leave and for that matter, they not just need to convince him to stay, but also need to hand him a new deal as he will be a free agent next year.
Anthony Martial - Manchester United
Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen was a regular fixture for Mauricio Pochettino last season and the towering Belgian indeed delivered when Alderweireld served the nursing table. Tottenham’s hierarchy have been working to full potential in terms of tying their key players around and Kane’s new six-year deal is the perfect specimen of it.
Next in their list should or much be Jan Vertonghen given that his current deal expires next year.
Jan Vertonghen - Tottenham
Ditching Manchester United to join Jose Mourinho at Chelsea in 2015, Pedro signed a four-year deal upon his arrival at the Stamford Bridge. He underwent a hectic debut season by then, but the arrival of Antonio Conte changed his fortune. But as things seem now, there are high chances that he might make a move and if Chelsea are thinking of keeping him, they need to hand him a new deal given that he will be a free agent by the end of the next season.
