Paul Pogba is on an absolute high right now with him being reinstated in the Manchester United line-up by new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He has repaid the gaffers faith by two back-to-back brilliant performances in United’s wins against Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town, scoring a brilliant brace against the latter.
He has also demolished the ghost of previous manager Jose Mourinho, with whom he did not get along one bit with many rumours even suggesting that the World Cup winner was on the verge of leaving United.
Things have thankfully gotten more cheerful for Pogba and his happiness would have only doubled up with news emerging that his stunning Bolivian girlfriend Maria Salaues is now pregnant with the pair’s first child.
There isn’t much information available about the relationship between Paul and Maria as the pair have managed to keep their affair under the wraps and out of the public eye for a long time.
But when walking at Old Trafford to watch United take on Huddersfield, there was a visible baby bump which Maria was carrying.
This will make 2019 a year to look forward for Pogba after a remarkable 2018 in which he was one of the star performers with the French team, which lifted the FIFA World Cup.
Pogba will now look forward to lead United’s charge into 2019 as they look to reinstate themselves as a major force of European football once again.
But the biggest challenge for Pogba undoubtedly will be the one of him becoming a proud father for the first time in his life.
