One of John Lennon’s famous quotes read; “Love is the flower you’ve got to let grow.” And for a certain Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, it has been growing every day since his Pescara and Sampdoria days. The lady luck behind his charm is an Italian model and a psychology student, Vittoria Repetto.
Like several other WAGs, Vittoria went all the way to Russia to support her ‘pocket-sized dynamite’ during his World Cup campaign. As of now, her Instagram profile boasts of 13.6k followers and she leaves no stones unturned while sharing her stunning images in two-piece. Upon her arrival in Russia, the Italian beauty posted a picture of the Red Square in Moscow and captioned, “Vamos Uruguay”.
Born in the city of Genoa, Italy, Vittoria’s Russian tour wasn’t just limited to Lucas as at that point in time, she perfectly accompanied her beau’s parents, Ricardo and Viviana. “We got along very well, she’s with us here and saved us as a translator because of her command of English,” Ricardo, the father, told the Uruguayan outlet TVshow.
Thanks to her magnificent grace, Vittoria’s career isn’t limited to the student of psychology and as soon as she entered the glamour world, she started contesting in beauty contests. Meanwhile, after Torreira’s World Cup quest was ended by the eventual winners France in the quarterfinals, the two lovebirds headed towards Caribbean island and spent their final days of the vacation on a beach in Aruba.
As far as Torreira is concerned, the Uruguayan had a tough start to his new life in England. He came on as a substitute during the London Derby when Arsenal took on Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately for him, he was robbed of the possession so many times that Emery’s assistant Juan Carlos Carcedo blasted out on him. The pair was seen exchanging words for over a minute before Carcedo left for the changing room while the midfielder stayed on the field to applaud the travelling supporters.
Making his way into the team, Torreira played a crucial as Arsenal played an entertaining draw at the Emirates against Liverpool last Sunday.
