After a tumultuous start to the season, which saw him castigated to the bench by former manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, things are finally looking up for French superstar midfielder Paul Pogba. There never has been any question about Pogba’s ability on the football pitch but his off the field relationship with Mourinho had brought his United career to a standstill.
But that hurdle is now out of the way for Pogba as Jose was recently shown the door out of United after a series of underwhelming performances by the team. The Portuguese was replaced by United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and he immediately restored Pogba back to the lineup. The French World Cup-winning midfielder responded brilliantly with world-class performance in United’s 5-1 thrashing of Cardiff City away from home.
Pogba for weeks has been teasing a big announcement on social media, which also landed him in big trouble. A social media post with the message ‘Caption This’ was scheduled in advanced and was visible on his various handles only a few hours after Mourinho was sacked riled many people up.
But it has now become visibly clear that Pogba had no intention to take a dig at Mourinho and his post was to promote the launch of his emoji app named Pogmoji. The app will allow users to use the emojis on the keyboards of their tablets and phones.
Some of the expressions available on the emojis are a sorry Pogba, a smiling Pogba, a winking Pogba, a cool Pogba, a sunglasses-wearing Pogba and a smirking Pogba.
Pogba made the announcement of the launch of his app on Twitter with a video:
I’m launching the Pogmoji App for you to customize your pictures and spice up your conversations 🔥It’s the Pogstyle on the palm of your hands.
Search for POGMOJI on the AppStore or Google Play.
Use the hashtag #POGMOJI and maybe you can be featured! 😉 pic.twitter.com/2Lx6YceefA

There is also a range of stickers available on the app and here are a few pictures of those:
With the launch of the new app, it is a statement of intent from Pogba that there is nothing which will get in his way from expanding his brand image in the world of football. He already has a massive fan following throughout the globe and with United seeming back on track to revive their season again, the sky is indeed looking blue for the French superstar.
