Serie A giants Inter Milan have joined hands with PepsiCo-owned Gatorade for the next two years. Gatorade will be the official sports drink for Inter for the ongoing season and the next season as well.
Gatorade already has been sponsoring UEFA Champions League and the premier club competition in Europe, since 2015. This deal with further enhances the popularity of the club which is already doing great business.
“Becoming partners with Inter, a club which has clearly taken steps forward in recent years and has recently qualified for the Uefa Champions League, gives us great satisfaction,” said PepsiCo Italy chief executive Marcello Pincelli.
“For us, this partnership represents the shared values we have in terms of determination and a desire to achieve increasingly ambitious goals, something which has always been closely associated with Gatorade.”
On the other hand, Inter Milan’s sales and partnerships director Giorgio Brambilla said: “We hope this new partnership helps both organisations move towards a future full of success.”
Inter Milan are currently third on the Serie A table.
