Luis Figo’s memory with pigs isn’t a pleasant one really. Those who have been following his career, especially in La Liga, are well and truly aware of that ‘Pig Head’ incident, but it seems those days are well behind him. Enjoying his retirement life, the former Portugal, Real Madrid and Barcelona winger has travelled all the way to the Bahamas and we just can’t get enough of his pictures.
Taking to Instagram, the 46-year-old former footballer not just showed off his #Wanderlust images but also flaunted his crisp body, while “looking forward to this new year and all that comes with it.” Apart from that, he also had a wonderful experience with ‘new team’ of dolphins.
Spending the quality time in ‘Paradise’ around the sea life, Figo looked happy throughout and didn’t shy away of showing his fans the glimpse of his tour. And then there was this picture; a moment spent with the local pigs, which might trigger some Barcelona faithful, to say the least. The picture is from the island of Pig Beach in Exuma, Bahamas.
And Figo, as always, looked extremely jolly with the creatures and this brings us to the fact that the head thrown at the footballer during the 2002 El Clasico still resides at the official Barca club museum.
