Remember Alexandre Pato, Chelsea fans? Well, some of you might. Pato joined Chelsea back in 2016 on loan from the Brazilian club Corinthians. Pato scored a goal on his debut and with it, became only the sixth Brazilian to score on his Premier League debut. Pato enjoyed his new life in London and expressed he wanted to make his transfer a permanent one. Football, however, can be cruel sometimes and Pato only managed two Premier League appearances before moving to Villarreal.
Pato currently plies his trade in China with Tianjin Quanjian. His side recently were up against Shanghai SIPG. Receiving a freekick some 30 yards away from goal, Pato stood up and fired his attempt away from the wall, which found its way spectacularly into the back of the net. The goal scored was an equaliser, but the lead couldn’t last long as Hulk restored Shanghai’s lead. Shanghai SIPG went on to win the game 4-1 with former Chelsea midfielder Oscar scoring a brace.
