Newly crowned world champions Lewis Hamilton has yet again managed to grab the attention, however, the reason is not his pace. Ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos, although he was beaten for the top spot by his teammate Valtteri Bottas in practice, the Brit was spotted donning an extra star on his already glamorous helmet to mark his fifth world title.
With a fourth-place finish in Mexico last time out, Hamilton entered the league of greats by levelling his tally with the Argentine great, Juan Manuel Fangio. As usual covered with different shades, the statue of Christ the Redeemer has been engraved on the back in front of the Brazilian flag. Well, the 33-year-old has left no stones unturned while showing his absolute love and respect for Ayrton Senna. This is followed by ‘Still I Rise’ written right beneath.

The left and the right sides are covered with five stars, with the year Hamilton won his champions (2008, 2014, 2015,2017 and 2018) imprinted on it.
Meanwhile, as far as the race is concerned, Mercedes have won three of their last four races at the venue and will look to seal their fifth consecutive constructors’ championship on Sunday. For Bottas – who was on the pole here last season – he will be on a hunt of getting his first win of the season, having been robbed of victory in Russia in September.
