Formula 1 giants McLaren and Chinese smartphone company One Plus on Tuesday launched their special edition of OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition at their McLaren’s Woking factory in the United Kingdom. The partnership between the two companies had certainly developed more interest among the fans who watch the sport.
This is not the first time that One Plus has tied up with a major company in the past, the company has tied up with Marvel Studios to put out a Marvel Avengers Limited Edition of the OnePlus 6.

Speaking with The Verge, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei admitted that he was convinced the collaboration made sense after test-driving a McLaren 720S. To him, both McLaren and OnePlus are brands for “people in the know.”
You must be wondering as to what the limited edition has to offer to the customers? well the phone itself features a carbon fiber layered case under the rear glass and a McLaren logo on the back, with papaya orange branding.

The company has given a cutting-edge element to its phone by introducing 10GB of RAM (with 256GB of data) to help make sure the phone runs quickly. With a 4K camera filming at 60fps, such capacity will be important for helping process it.
The phone box also contains fast charging tech called Warp Charge 30 with a Papaya Orange cable. The 30 in the name signifies the up to 30W fast charging capabilities, which will charge the phone in 20 minutes. The limited edition box contains a McLaren logo – called Speedmark – made out of McLaren designed F1 AA-grade carbon fibre, which is said to be the same material used in the McLaren MCL33 2018 Formula 1 car.
The phone was unveiled globally on Tuesday, while the launch in India is all set to take place on Wednesday.
