Formula 1 drivers sure know how to get their off-season vacations up and rolling. While some decide to dedicate their vacay to hardcore training, some decide to go on a full #Wanderlust mode and a certain Lewis Hamilton belongs to the latter. As of now, the five-time world champion is surfing his way through the west coast of America and the pictures he is uploading are making many of his fans extremely desirous.
With Formula 1 being a remarkably demanding sport, Hamilton has made sure he keeps his fitness game up. It was only three days back that Hamilton, who turned 34 on January 7, uploaded a picture and mentioned he is “doing Pilates and Yoga for my core strength.”
Following that, he was golfing around course because he “loves the precision in this sport.” Accepted that he was on a vacation, but the 34-year-old received a major backlash from the supporters because well… he was wearing a Basketball attire, which for many was the “insult to the sport of golf.”
His followers were left furious as many of them went to say he should “begin with the etiquette of the game first.”
To be honest, Hamilton has planned his vacation to perfection, as the United Kingdom is facing a nail-biting winter.
It was earlier this month that Hamilton was seen spending time with the 11-time surfing world champion Kelly Slater. And he recently decided to hone his skills by hitting the beach while proudly mentioning, “Broadening Horizons. Surfing is my fave sport! Being taught by Kelly and Kai.”
Apart from experiencing all these adventures, he also attended the Los Angeles Rams’ game alongside YG and Post Malone at Los Angeles, California. And it’s not just Hamilton; his partner Valtteri Bottas is unleashing the same mode, as he recently made his trip all the way from Finland to Chile and Argentina. The Fin’s New Year’s celebration was glorified in the port city of Chile, Valparaiso, before he began his road trip to Argentina.
Bringing out the photographer hidden within him, the 29-year-old shared the landscape images of Aconcagua national park, situated at a summit elevation of 6,960.8 metres
With the 2019 Formula 1 season not kicking off until mid-March, we are literally getting a glimpse of the other side of these athletes.
