Indian ministers and their infatuation with limelight. When will it ever end? The latest to join the list;Vijay Goel, the Indian Sports Minister. He tried to hog the attention of the players after their World Cup triumph and overstayed his welcome at the presentation ceremony, as if he had himself single-handedly won India the Kabaddi World Cup.
Twitter was absolutely brutal and trolled Goel mercilessly.
Here are some of the best reactions:
Shameless politicians. Hankering for cheap publicity, trying to steal attention from players. Get out of the way. No one wants to see you. pic.twitter.com/A5E9VHo92M
