India has grabbed its first medal in Olympics after Sakshi Malik, a 23 year old girl from Rohtak in Haryana won the bronze-medal bout against Aisuluu Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan 8-5 on Wednesday.
The win has ignited the hopes for a few more medals among the Indian fans. On August 18, India will have their hopes on another women wrestler Babita Kumari, who will have her first go in Rio. Also, Indian golfer Aditi Ashok will starting her campaign. It will juts be the women from India who will be in action today.
