Emerging as one of the most promising names in the world of tennis, young and vivacious Florida native Whitney Osuigwe has been winning consecutive tournaments from the last two years.
The former World No. 1 Junior Champion, Whitney got the tennis world talking about her when she won the ITF Junior World Championship this year.
Her winning run started in 2015 when she won the Roland Garros defeating Eddie Herr at the age of 15.
Now, after winning this week’s $80,000 Tyler event, she has grabbed her first professional title at the age of 16 and entered the top 300 at the young age.
The American tennis ace started playing tennis at the age of six at Desmond Osuigwe, IMG Academy, and since then, there has been no looking back for her.
The young tennis star has an older brother named Deandre who is a college basketball player and a younger sister Victoria who also plays tennis.
