The draws for the 2018 edition of the Wimbledon are out and it has thrown in some major surprises with one of the most lopsided top an bottom halves in recent memory.
Roger Federer who will be aiming for a 9th Wimbledon title and will be the defending champion has a relatively easy ride as he has Marin Cilic in his half of the draw. He though has a few roadblocks as he could face Borna Coric who recently defeated in Halle in the fourth round of the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Federer will open his campaign against Dusan Lajovic.
The bottom half also has other big heavyweights like Alexander Zverev and Nick Kyrgios.
Nadal will open his campaign against Dudi Sela and will potentially face opponents like Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and Nick Kyrgios as he advances in the tournament.
Federer, on the other hand, could face Marin Cilic in a rematch of last year’s lopsided final which Federer comfortably won.
