According to reports in Serbia, tennis superstar Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena are expecting their second child. This news has been reported by Serbian news outlets such as InSerbia News and Blic. The news is yet to be confirmed by the Djokovic family.
Novak and his wife Jelena are already proud parents to a son named Stefan, who was born in 2014. The reports state the Djokovics are expecting the birth of their second child sometime in the early fall. The birth of the second child could clash with Novak’s bid to win the US Open, the closest tournament to the birth date being reported. Djokovic is a two-time winner of the fourth and final Grand Slam of the calendar year.
It hasn’t been the best start to the year for the current World No.2, as he faced an early exit from the Australian Open, when he was defeated in the second round of the tournament. He also lost his No.1 spot to rival Andy Murray, late in 2016.
But Djokovic being the champion he is, being regarded as one of the greatest players to have ever played the sport to tennis, is likely to hit back hard and will be one of the strong favourites, to win the remaining Grand Slams of the year at the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.
Meanwhile, the whole world awaits for the confirmation from the Djokovics on whether the reports are true or not.
